These organizations included, El Consejo Salvadoreño de Café, International Women in Coffee Alliance, and CLAC (La Coordinadora Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Pequeños Productores y Trabajadores de Comercio Justo.) Toured fields of coffee tree farms and coffee bean processing plants in central and western El Salvador. Reported predictors of and barriers to future growth in coffee industry in El Salvador.  Compared Emory University El Salvador findings with Yonsei University research results in Tanzanian coffee study.
