The work undertaken as part of my PhD is concerned with the synthesis and characterisation of infinite polymer networks. Within this broad subject range, my projects focus on the synthesis of both porous and non-porous organic polymers and their subsequent functionalisation through different methods.Outside of the lab I have had the opportunity to present my work to different research groups both within the University of Strathclyde and also at external universities, mentor undergraduate students at different levels of their study, attend conferences and lectures and also engage in collaborative work.
