I am currently pursuing a BS in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Carthage College. I recently finished a 3-week study abroad course in Rome, London, and Munich, which has opened my eyes to new cultures and provided me with unique experiences. I have a diverse work history, and I have had the ability to work directly with those with disabilities. I have also had the opportunity to complete a thesis fieldwork placement with the Boy's and Girl's Club of Kenosha, where I gained hands-on experience in designing an intervention to reduce maladaptive behaviors, collecting data, and working one-on-one with a client. These experiences have helped me develop valuable skills I will continue to implement throughout my professional career.Looking toward the future, I am focused on continuing my education at the Master's level and pursuing a career in a clinical counseling role. I am excited at the prospects that await me, and I am always willing to learn and grow as a person and a professional. I have always had the propensity for helping those around me, and I have carried this passion through my educational journey. As one of my core values, I will not forget what drew me to this field as I embark on my career journey.After graduation in May 2024, I hope to acquire a job near my hometown of Chicago. I am equally excited and thankful for the opportunities I have had and those that I will pursue in the future.
