Based in a fast paced environment, my main task in this role is to trim and fit composites to small tolerances (Avg. 0.2mm). This role helped to further enhance my attention to detail due to working to such small margins, whilst also aiding my ability to meet deadlines, still maintain a high quality of work.

In this role I performed a wide variety of tasks such as material preparation, reading assembly drawings and fitting, this allowed me to further enhance my organisational skills to ensure all deadlines were met promptly. Other tasks I undertook include; stock checking, delivery and collection driving, visual inspection, assembly work and painting.

My main responsibility in this job was to teach and grade B-Tec level 3 students. This helped me to develop my leadership skills as I was required to provide guidance for the students to ensure that they got both a good grade and their tasks were completed thoroughly and adequately.

This role allowed me to develop my teamwork skills as I was required to work with others in order to ensure a reliable production line of aerosol cans was maintained. It also allowed me to develop my customer communication skills as I was required to talk to both prospective and regular customers about the products and services that we offer and find a suitable solution to their needs. Whilst in this role I attended college to further develop myself.

In this role I was required to undertake cash handling duties, deal with customer enquires both in person and over the phone, replenish stock and communicate with management. This role also allowed me to develop my communication skills as I was required to effectively deal with any problems customers may have and find an adequate solution. In this role I was given special praise by a customer on their receipt survey for my positive attitude and demeanour.

This role was volunteering to help disabled and partially abled people to become more active and get involved in sport. This opportunity allowed me to develop my leadership skills as I was tasked with developing and organising games for people to take part in, whilst ensuring that they were happy with their activity.
