I am a masters student studying aerospace engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I received my BSAE from Georgia Tech in spring 2023 and I will graduate with my MSAE in spring 2025. I am interested in aircraft aerodynamics and design and I am eager for an opportunity to work in this field.I work as a graduate teaching assistant at Georgia Tech for the course AE 3610 Experiments in Fluid and Solid Mechanics. My responsibilities in this role include running and supervising labs for students, grading reports, holding weekly office hours, managing lab supplies and procurement, and assisting student project groups with test planning and execution. In my first year as a master's student, I worked as a graduate research assistant for Dr. Pranay Seshadri in his lab at Georgia Tech. Our work focused on the gathering of experimental datasets of pitot-static measurements to develop machine learning models. This work has the potential to reduce the cost of pressure sensors by incorporating machine learning model predictions. As an experimentalist, I developed and manufactured test stands and designed experimental procedures to collect our data.I recently interned at the NASA Ames Research Center Aeromechanics Branch in the summer 2023. I worked on a project to develop a UAV helicopter for aerial wildfire firefighting logistics operations where I used NDARC to do sizing and off-design performance analysis for the aircraft. As an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, I spent four years working for the Design Build Fly (DBF) team. In my senior year I led the team as project manager where we won the annual SAE competition against 14 other national and international teams.
