Mergers & Acquisitions: In 2022, BMI engaged in an asset purchase agreement of business operating assets from a NASDAQ-listed company. Through the process, I was able to learn about legal and business strategies involving contracts, bankruptcy, and SEC regulations through the letter of intent, due diligence, definitive agreement, and closing stages. The result was a sustainable strategic advantage for BMI with increased profits. Contract Analysis: BMI has had numerous contracts with customers and suppliers. As a result, I have learned about techniques used to analyze exclusive supply contracts, develop and implement strategies for the termination of a contract, and negotiate with a prospective customer of a new supply contract. Operations Development: BMI is currently pivoting to vertically integrate a newly acquired mine and is developing new products for current customers. In addition, I created BMI’s over-the-road trucking division from inception to full operations in under three months where I created business plan, prepared financial projections, navigated federal and state rules and regulations, acquired tractor and trailers, and hired company’s first commercial driver. Procurement: BMI has historically had a global supply chain. To learn more, I traveled to India to qualify raw material suppliers, visited manufacturing plants, conducted interviews, and reviewed supply contracts.

Grant's experience included preparing tax due diligence reports, restructuring reports, vendor due diligence reports, and analyzing the impacts of upcoming tax legislation.

• Strategized committee negotiations for legislation using data analysis. • Retrieved historical documents from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office at Senator Blunt’s request. • Attended legislative briefings and drafted summarizing memos for Senator Blunt’s review. • Met with constituents regarding their concerns and Senator Blunt’s policy positions. • Led tours of the U.S. Capitol for personal guests of Senator Blunt and visiting constituents.
