● Led a collaboration with six experimental scientists in Chicago and Belgium to help understand key design principles that were used to bring a laboratory scale process to an industrial scale, and published the findings in Molecular Systems Design Engineering● Coauthored a manuscript published in ACS Macro Letters detailing the extension of a geneticoptimization algorithm to 3D simulations as a tool for designing processes for fabricating memorydevices and features in microelectronic circuits● Helped develop syllabus and coursework for the inaugural Engineering Analysis course in theundergraduate curriculum of the Institute for Molecular Engineering

● Worked in a team with 10 experimentalists to provide insight into optimization strategies for thefabrication of sub-20nm lines-and-spaces to meet industrial standards● Presented my research at SPIE 2015, SPIE 2016, and the world’s first DSA Symposium in front ofaudiences of 100+ scientists from academia and industry and published collaborative work in SPIE2015 conference proceedings as the first author

● Debugged proprietary software to enable the optimization of lithographic design for VerticalInterconnect Accesses● Coauthored a peer-reviewed paper on the use of the improved software to study the boundary effects in the production of architectures necessary for microchip fabrication

● Developed simulation models for materials that are being used in complementary techniques for the manufacture of sub-20nm features in next generation electronic devices● Presented on the impact of intrinsic material properties on device fabrication at annual reviews tocompanies involved in the Semiconductor Research Corporation● Coauthored a paper in a team of four researchers where we reported genetic optimization algorithms to design patterns for structures used in microchip fabrication using 2D simulation models
