In 2015, Grant founded the Durban Entrepreneurs Club to provide a platform for Durban Entrepreneurs to meet in a semi-formal environment, so that they may network with and inspire one another to grow their businesses to their full potential.The Club hosts monthly meetings for members and guests which include either educational or inspirational guest speakers, as well as a networking session so that attendees can get to know one another, build relationships, and ultimately grow their network of Durban business partners.The Club has been built from a zero base to over 120 paid-up members in its first year, without any corporate sponsorship. Grant's idea was to grow the Club using the entrepreneurial principals of sound marketing and branding, and networking and relationship skills.The Club has, in a short space of time, has been very well received by Durban entrepreneurs, and key to this has been its ability to attract top business men and women as guest speakers to their events. Previous speakers include Margaret Hirsch, Vivian Reddy, Terry Rosenberg, Justin Clarke and Sindi Mobaso-Koyana, amongst others.The Club aims to INSPIRE, EDUCATE and CONNECT Durban Entrepreneurs, and plans are in place to introduce a youth element to Club to cater for younger members.Events are held monthly, with membership fees paid annually. Guests are welcome to events at and are charged a once-off entrance fee.
