Engineer who has a passion for robotics and automation! I approach life with positivity and curiosity which has helped me excel in my current role as a manufacturing engineer in the Parker Hannifin leadership development Program. The leadership development program has given me the opportunity to work in four Parker locations around the United States with a focus on manufacturing process improvement. My position has strengthened my ability to quickly adapt to new work environments, identify opportunities for improvement, and finish projects within an aggressive timeline.1st Rotation Accomplishments: Led the Winding Team in a President;s Kaizen resulting in a 25% increase in UPLH. Learned and utilized Six Sigma tools to identify and solve complex engineering problems. Trained an AI vision system for defect detection. Automated our tag embossing process improving both safety and quality.2nd Rotation Accomplishments: Designed new tooling for our assembly machine which decreased setup time by 95%, eliminated $700,000 in backlog, and is now being horizontally deployed to more machines. Leader of the Carbon Footprinting Pilot Team. Further developed my skills with vision systems by identifying the best lighting for a complex vision problem. 3rd Rotation Accomplishments: Designed an automation friendly assembly cell by creating 3D printed bowl feeders and adapting an existing assembly machine for a robotic arm. Constructed a project management plan to reach deadlines and improve communication. Produced engineering documentation including a user manual, maintenance manual, electrical schematics, and assembly guide.4th Rotation Accomplishments: Currently implementing an AI Vision System for defect detection. Spent a week at a customer location to provide support. Supporting the Maintenance team to improve efficiency and engagement.
