About Grant Hirschberg
I am a passionate, hardworking individual on my journey to achieve my career goal of becoming an Optometrist. As a proud Rutgers alumnus, I graduated as a Public Health major and Biology minor, developing a broad sense of global, hospital, and individual health knowledge. Immediately after graduating, I was hired as a technician where I worked with the optometry machinery and gained a greater understanding of the optometry diagnostics. Working with a team, specifically under the doctor has led me to develop more interpersonal and collaborative skills. It was this experience that motivated me to move forward and apply to be an optometrist. After starting Salus University in August 2017 I began quickly performing comprehensive eye exams and giving personalized eye care. My education has provided me a tremendous amount of experience in the field with a vast understanding of many of the ocular diseases, binocular vision, contact lens and refractions. My knowledge of eye care has extended into various optometry office settings such as small practices, MD/OD , and hospital based. I am dedicated to continue my growth in all aspects of eye care with the hopes to provide the best care to my community.
