• An integral part of the Senior Management team, making operational and commercial decisions which continually improve company performance and results. Leading a culture where respect and motivation are key to the company’s success.• Supply Chain Management - full control of the end to end supply of products through the business unit – ensuring customer satisfaction with OTIF service standards.• Key Performance Indicators – develop and monitor operational KPI’s, identifying shortfalls & implementing continuous improvement initiatives, resulting in a 7% improvement in delivery performance (2018 v 2019) and inventory turn value from 9 to 12 (2018 v 2019)• Budgetary control - co-ordinating regular budget reviews to ensure actual spend is in line with budgets/forecasts for all departments.• Account management – responsible for two product categories with sales in excess of £1.5 million, achieving year on year growth in excess of 8%.• Manage all procurement activities - source and lead negotiations for best prices and terms on all products & services within the companies portfolio, reducing costs and improving service levels.• Ensure that the purchasing department reacts to sales demands, quickly and efficiently. • Oversee warehouse & logistics operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched in accordance with the companies T&C and to departmental and individual targets. Including the management of the 3PL contracts with parcel and pallet transport companies• Maintain and uphold the company’s quality management system, including overseeing the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015• Maintain and uphold the company’s Health & Safety policy, providing a safe working environment for employees & visitors at all times.• Business data analysis - identifying strong and weak points, finding & implementing solutions and reporting them to internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage the daily operations of the sales office, purchase & technical departments and the Warehouse.• Develop, manage and monitor SOP’s & KPI’s, as agreed by the management team.• Keep tight budgetary control over departments, co-ordinating regular budget reviews.• Gather, analyse and react to business performance/productivity reports.• Oversee the Sales Order book on a daily basis, making sure that orders are processed in a timely manner.• Manage the company’s procurement activities, working closely with suppliers.• Ensure that the purchasing department reacts to sales demands, quickly and efficiently. • Oversee the Warehouse operation, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched in accordance with the T&C.• Maintain the company’s Health & Safety policy, providing a safe working environment at all times.• Complete Business Analysis - analysing all divisions of the business (internal & external) and identifying shortfalls within the operation. Acted upon findings and implemented changes swiftly.
