My internship started in my sophomore year while attending Northwest State Community College. I was able to start the summer internship early in March of 2023. During this time I developed my skills in Autocad, Google Earth Pro, and Drone Piloting. Once the summer was over they asked me to stay on part-time. I continued developing my skills and shadowing maintenance techs to get a broader view of Cooper Farms.

In my second summer of working as a Groundskeeper, the Pro Shop at Auglaize needed help. Once I turned 18 in August I got the position so I could legally sell canned alcoholic beverages. The next two summers I helped plan and set up outings. The best part of my job was running the golf ball cannon in outings.

I started working at Auglaize Golf Club as a groundskeeper after my Junior year of high school and have worked there ever since. I have done almost everything imaginable on a golf course that involves maintaining it. The biggest part of my job was being put in charge of the irrigation of the course.
