I have been assisting with the Extrication Project at the annual Municipal Fire School at Brayton Fire Field since 2004. We teach 50-100 students a year about basic extrication techniques, new vehicle technology, basic hand tools, scene safety, hydraulic tools, stabilization, and other areas of working vehicle wrecks. As of 2013, it has become a certification course through the SFFMA for tech I and II.

We are a Civil Service Department that covers the 924 square miles of Nolan county out of one station.
