I am currently apart of the Mechanical Production Support team. My role is to keep the production and manufacturing of busses flowing. I assist production by designing and engineering new parts as a result of part shortages fitment issues, or simply improving overall design. Another key role I play is proper documentation of new or existing parts or any changes made to the bus. These changes are capture through the ECN process (Engineering Change Notice). Lastly, I serve in generating the BOMs (Bill of Materials) for all busses. This is accomplished through SAP.

As a team member apart of the chassis subsystem, I am responsible for keeping my TIG welding skills sharp and accurate. I dedicated the Fall semester to designing, testing, welding the chassis and suspension components as well as performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on the chassis. The suspension subsystem involves heavily the skill to use SolidWorks and the ability to manufacture designed parts. I designed the control arms used, and verified that the control arms would function properly within the suspension system and the chassis in SolidWorks. Being a member of SAE requires the ability to perform within a team demanding clear communication and individual excellence.

As a Operation Supervisor at Starbucks, I was in charge of deploying baristas to either make drinks, assisting with drive-thru and the café as well as managing breaks.
