Refinery wide SME for the Heat Exchanger program. This role works to scope maintenance and turnaround execution jobs to maintain a large number of heat exchanger assets across all units of the refinery. Interaction includes all business teams, turnaround group, and unit inspectors and is a great opportunity to see a lot of improvement projects and develop and maintain asset strategies to operate in a safe and reliable manner.

Reliability Engineer in the largest set of units by asset count and real estate onsite. Helped to prioritize improvement opportunities while supporting day to day maintenance. Helped to plan and support execution of a large turnaround in this area.

Reliability Engineer that had a part in the day to day maintenance to keep the unit running while supporting scoping the large turnaround and improvement project scopes that the Coker units have on a rotating basis. Fast pace and priority units within the refinery made this a very rewarding experience.

Helped to scope, plan, and execute turnarounds at multiple FHR sites. Role was focused on fixed equipment assets, primarily Heat exchanger and vessels. Based at FHR's Pine Bend Refinery while also supporting multiple Turnarounds at FHR's Alaska refinery and Joliet and Port Arthur Chemical facilities. Role was heavy on the planning side and then during execution supported project manager responsibilities as crafts arrived to site for execution. Was a fun and rewarding liaison between the plant's turnaround and inspection groups and crafts executing the work.
