• Proposed and implemented an event consumer abstraction for VC. Paired with infrastructure teams to configure a Kafka backend for VC and consume events through the provided abstraction.• Led project to automate valuation updates for VC client positions held in in Carta-companies who raise new rounds. 91% of automated valuations updates were accepted by clients in 2023, removing direct involvement from our Fund Administration department.• Led multiple projects to automate financial reporting approvals and reviews for VC clients, saving Fund Administrators thousands upon thousands of emails from being sent to clients and further automating the financials process for funds / SPVs

• Managed architectural planning and implementation of third-party eCommerce integration partners like Amazon, Walmart, and Facebook Marketplaces.• Optimized active record query layer to scale existing product offerings to larger customers. Used indexing, query analysis, and other techniques to speed up critical requests by up to 50x.• Contributed to product direction by providing domain expertise in third-party API integrations and driving focus on delivering value under time constraints.

Funded under the STE||AR Research Group. Worked the fall of 2015 to further implement parallelizing the STL within their runtime system, HPX. Also performed clerical code duties such as documentation refactoring/writing, and updating a legacy HPX based linear algebra library to use the most recent version of the runtime system.
