I studied a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management) degree and graduated in 2002. I moved into my first graduate environmental role in 2003 and have been employed as an environmental professional since that time.I have also completed a Diploma of Project Management and I am a licenced and qualified Pest Management Technician. I have completed the Australian Groundwater School and the River Restoration course. I received multiple 'Certificates of Appreciation' from the City of Joondalup for my contributions in this area. I did a Green Corps traineeship in 1999 which is actually what inspired me to study Environmental Management. Being from a rural background, I enjoyed the physical nature of the work, and I found that the educational component that was being delivered really struck a chord with me. Three of my fellow trainees already had environmental degrees and after hearing more about this field of study I was convinced that this was the area I was interested in. 1997, I was contracted to play for the 'Perth Reds Rugby League Club', in the national Rugby League competition at the time. I have been fortunate enough to compete in the grand final of national competition which was quite an experience. I represented Western Australia in the national Rugby League Championships in 1994 and was granted a scholarship at Aranmore Catholic College, Leederville, in 1995 and 1996, to play Rugby League at college and state level.For more detailed information, please see the rest of my profile below.
