Over the past 25 years, I have transformed the culture and framework of a number of leading independent Junior Schools across three states. My approach is collaborative and authentic and my strategies designed to work within the existing stakeholder boundaries whilst pushing the limits of what is possible.I am known for developing others, a focus on delivery and strong adherence to governance and doing what’s best for the staff and students in our care. I’m highly organised, a strong communicator, and an experienced facilitator and mentor.With every team I lead, I foster a supportive culture built on coaching and empathy. I’m passionate about the people I work with and believe that taking the time to build relationships with all stakeholder groups including students, staff, parents, council, old scholars and the local community is essential for success.I’m visible, and accessible. A quality education requires a carefully crafted, holistic and mindful approach across curriculum, co-curricular activities and pastoral care. Open and honest two-way communication flows, and an appetite to seek ongoing feedback are critical to an ethos of continuous improvement and growth. Much of my formal education qualifications have a bent toward technology and innovation. In this fast-paced world, filled with both disruption and opportunity, we have a responsibility to ensure the students in our care emerge confident life-long learners, who have the skills and values necessary to start their own life adventure into work, university or service.
