Mechanical Engineering Tutor
Primarily provide tailored SolidWorks tutoring to students and professionals with an emphasis on industry-standard practices. I work with students of all skill and experience levels to help them reach a desired goal. I have also tutored students in mechanical design and fluid mechanics.

I manage and execute all aspects of the business, including client relations, flying the drones and producing high-quality photographs and edited video.My most recent projects have been centered around creating accurate to-scale landscape plots and maps to be used for landscape architecture. These plots are formed through a series of overlapping images from my drones, that will be turned into an orthographic mosaic image. This image is then traced using AutoCAD and scaled per client request. After this, the traced and true scale plot is made ready to print in a PFD format and is sent to the printer. The final product is a survey that is far more accurate than traditional ground-based operations, at a fraction of the cost.

Developing vertical test stand for Redshift Propulsion with a regeneratively cooled, bi-propellant liquid rocket engine with 790 lbf of thrust. Iteratively designing mounting solutions for thrust structure using FEA to simulate and validate concepts.

Mechanical Engineering Co-Op
Designed and released the build box of the Production System™ P-50 printer to initial production. Generated drawings for custom parts following ASME Y14.9 drafting standard. Used geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) strategies to constrain parts while reducing manufacturing cost. Designed and tested a device to empirically measure and estimate leak rates of silicone gaskets and wrote a technical report detailing the results. Extensively used SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM. Used JIRA and Confluence for task management and process documentation.
Hardware Engineering Co-Op
This was my second stint with IAM Robotics; I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to return. I worked closely with the hardware team and I was tasked with multiple testing and prototyping projects. I was responsible for planning, developing, executing and presenting my work. The projects I worked on included assembling a scale to weigh final production robots, designing and assembling a dynamometer and running extensive FEA testing of the next generation chassis and suspension system.Extensively used SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM to model ideas, prototypes and integrate off the shelf components into large assemblies. Primarily worked with solid body modelling but experimented with complex surface modelling for more intricate parts.Extensively used SLA and FDM 3D printing technology to materialize initial ideas. Gained experience using a CNC router to machine parts using Autodesk Fusion360 and SolidWorks HSMWorks CAM software.
Hardware Engineering Intern
I worked extensively with SolidWorks to create and manipulate custom 3D models. I started from scratch on many of the parts that I worked on. Using surface modeling techniques, I designed complex parts that I printed using the on site SLA 3D printer. One of my more involved projects worked closely with the FANUC robot arm. I designed a special mount system that works in conjunction with the existing arm module. The mount is designed to test the reliability of the connection between the arm and the module through repetitive use. Through this process, I've learned about surface modeling, creating intricate assemblies and a variety of other technical skills in SolidWorks. I've become familiar with the machine shop, using tools such as the drill press, belt sander, miter saw, metal saw, thread taps and various other hand-held tools.
Surveyor Intern
While I was at Rig Consulting, I inspected project development at work sited in McKeesport and Dravosburgh, Pennsylvania, where I recorded information as a third-party field surveyor regarding the status of the ongoing construction. I tabulated and provided this information in weekly situation reports as work on the job site was completed. Additionally, I created flight maps and flew weekly drone operations to gather important pictures that would be used to make progress report maps for a job site located in Washington, PA.
Video Editor - Summer Intern
Starting from scratch, I created and edited training videos for new employees using a script as a guide. The process required multiple stages of changes and edits to make a final product for the end user. This required constant communication with script writers and voice over artists to maintain updated and correct information.
