I have a passion for commercializing technology that will have a meaningful and lasting impact on climate action. I believe in understanding first principles and fundamentals to be able to solve complex problems while staying grounded in practical financial, operational, and cultural realities that can either limit or accelerate growth. At Apeel Sciences I had a wide range of experiences from the chemistry labs in the early formulation discovery of the startup, to leading complex equipment installations in the US, Peru and Netherlands, to leading a country operation in Spain, and category leadership for a business in EMEA. This progression has been driven by a deep sense of curiosity, an ability to "get it done" in highly ambiguous situations and the humility to learn from the experts in new topics to implement unique sustainability solutions and hard-tech business models in the fresh produce value chain.
