Involved in downstream process development and execution of gene to protein projects, as well as upstream process development of pDNA generation and purification. Contributed to downstream process development and execution of novel COVID-19 therapeutics. Responsibilities include:· Express proteins and pDNA using mammalian or E. coli systems· Characterize samples using Nanodrop, HPLC, UPLC, Octet and DLS· Plasmid transformations and characterization to generate research cell banks· Purification of proteins from lysis/thaw to final filtration· Research Cell Databank generation of pDNA· Keep clients updated and present data to team members· Cellular Material filtration by depth filtration, and Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration by TFF on hollowfiber and cassette membranes

Summer intern in assisting the Protein Science team focused on antibody production and characterization. Handled both molecular cloning and cell biology projects without any contamination. Responsibilities included: • Routine cell culture of ExpiCHO and Expi293 cells• Transformation of E. coli for clone picking and plasmid preparation• Purification of DNA through Maxi, Mini and Midi prep • Preparation of E. coli glycerol stocks • Protein A based affinity purification for antibodies • Binding kinetics characterization of antibodies by Octet instrument
