I am a research officer at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (formerly known as the Department of Agriculture and Food, WA), where I am currently working in land and water assessment.I am interested in a wide range of scientific disciplines, such as groundwater, hydrogeology, salinity, crop physiology, biology, and more. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (2003-2005) and Honours in Environmental Science (2006) at Flinders University.I am good at writing and editing reports, as I have careful attention to detail. I have a strong interest in photography, and my photos are often used in various publications and media. I have also photographed a variety of different events and activities.

  During my time at the department, I have been involved with a variety of projects, trials, and activities. I have contributed to several drilling projects, groundwater assessment projects, and groundwater monitoring projects. Key highlights are the Ord Stage 2 development project and the La Grange development project. I have also been involved in projects and trials examining fodder shrubs, pastures, frost, soil productivity, early emergence and grain fill in wheat, biosecurity response, salinity, land use planning, and evaluation. Key highlights are the Enrich Fodder Shrub trial, the National Banana Freckle Response, and the Early Emergence and Grain Fill in Wheat project trials. I have excellent written communication skills. In addition to writing reports, I have also reviewed and edited various other departmental reports.My strong interest in photography has also been beneficial, as I have taken photos of a wide range of events and activities, photographed trials, and taken photos for inclusion in various reports and media releases.
