LightForce is building the next generation of braces technology using 3d printing.- Started & led PM team focused on our manufacturing line - web/mobile/tablet applications, automation code, machine APIs, integrations, etc. used by 100s of technicians every day.- Connected our production machines to the cloud in order to write code to monitor performance, diagnose issues, automate failure rollover, and automate many repetitive tasks.- Worked with engineering on developing several automation machines (AI-based vision quality control, part sorting, etc), and to identify & automate several manual software processes, saving millions in manual labor costs.- These efforts helped reduce the average time to manufacture our products by 60+% and improve gross margin by 30+%.

Formlabs makes the most affordable high quality professional 3D printers.- Started as 1st software PM and grew the team to 5 PMs. Also managed the Web Engineering team and grew this team to 7 web engineers, and also started the DevOps team and hired 2 DevOps engineers.- In charge of all software products: PreForm (desktop app), Dashboard (web & mobile-friendly app), Fleet Control (set of premium features in PreForm and Dashboard), formlabs.com (main website and eCommerce store), and 5 machine touch interfaces. - Created the Fleet Control product based on numerous customer interviews. I pitched the idea to top management and then led development from whiteboard concept to release.- Drove a major redesign of all software UIs (desktop, web, touch) to make them more mobile-friendly and to bring them into greater consistency with each other.- Improved the IoT data our printers and software communicated back to our servers, how this data was displayed to customers on Dashboard, and how we used this data internally to help improve our products.

A nonprofit protecting, preserving and enhancing the Charles River and its watershed through science, advocacy and the law. - I have always been passionate about the environment, and so I volunteered with CRWA and joined their board, eventually serving as vice president of the board.- I am most proud of helping to lead the organization through a period of major change as the previous executive director retired after 28 years. I served on the 5-person hiring committee which hired the current executive director who has been tremendously successful, more than doubling the annual budget while continuing to maintain the strong leadership, performance, and reputation of the organization.

Stratasys is the leader in industrial 3D printers, materials, and services.- Head of global software product management (directing a team of 8 PMs and 3 UX designers), encompassing existing GrabCAD and Stratasys products as well as new ones.- Led creation and launch of the 3rd official GrabCAD product, GrabCAD Print, making professional 3D printing easy and accessible - both print preparation, scheduling, and monitoring. GC Print now has over 20k+ users. I also have a second patent pending for features of GrabCAD Print.- Led a major redesign of all the touchscreen UIs of the different lines of Stratasys printers to achieve a cohesive look and feel.- Implemented a strategic planning framework called OGSM within the Software department to track the large number of projects and connect them to business objectives and KPIs. The framework was so well received I was asked to lead a large group of executives through the same process to create a Stratasys-wide strategic plan with clear objectives and KPIs.- Presented for Stratasys/GrabCAD at conferences in front of thousands of people (AM3D conference, UXFest, SSYS user groups in Asia & Europe).- During my time in charge of the GrabCAD product line, I oversaw remarkable growth across all GrabCAD products. I stewarded the Community user base expansion from 100k to over 4 million. I led the transformation of Workbench and Print from concepts on a whiteboard to fully realized products, with a user base of 130k+ for Workbench and 20k+ for Print.

[acquired by Stratasys]- After a successful launch of Workbench I became Head of Products and also managed two additional teams - UX Design and Customer Support. I grew the UX team to 3 designers and the CS team to 4 CS reps.- Developed a “Support Tagging” system within our customer support tool (Helpscout) to tag incoming customer feature requests and bugs, and automatically increment a “hit” for this feature/bug in JIRA. This enables anyone to pull up a list showing which features/bugs have been requested by the most users - enormously helpful for prioritization.

Leading the evolution of GrabCAD - where the world's engineers can get the tools, knowledge, and connections to build great products faster.- I joined GrabCAD (then a startup) as the 1st product manager, and within two years grew to lead the entire Product, UX Design, and Customer Support teams. - Led the creation of GrabCAD’s second major product from whiteboard to reality: GrabCAD Workbench, a simple, secure product for engineering teams to manage and collaborate on 3D CAD data.

[acquired by Berkshire Hathaway's Richline]After spending two years as a software engineer, I shifted roles to help our fulfillment group manage our growing order volume. I led product management of our order fulfillment system and product costing software modules handling thousands of orders and communications with manufacturers and suppliers.In my last year at Gemvara I became Team Lead of a new group, CAD, Rendering & Customization team. I managed the 1000s of CAD files of Gemvara and my team worked on pushing the boundaries of how the jewelry could be customized and rendered to push the brand and user experience of the website forward.

Created numerous innovative ways to display, customize, and interact with custom fine jewelry on Gemvara.com. I started at Gemvara as a software engineer writing software to automate manipulation and photorealistic rendering of Rhino CAD/CAM jewelry models. I created one method of doing this that involves rendering individual components of a model in a few dozen different materials, and then lets end users combine these images into well over a million different product permutations (patent for Layered Personalization, US #: 8,194,069).

-Worked on development of configurable modular robots that can be re-assembled to perform tasks. I mainly worked with graduate students on their related research projects.-Led development of a robotic gripper module, assisted in development of camera modules and new robot modules.

Worked in the Brigham's construction management office during construction of the new Shapiro Cardiovascular Center, a $350 million expansion of the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Updated an Access database of 14,000 products scheduled for interior installation in the building using feedback from hospital departments, existing inventory in existing facilities, future expansion needs, etc. to minimize expenditures.
