Aristotle Fund Student Manager
The Aristotle Fund is a program at the University of St. Thomas that provides a unique opportunity for graduate students and undergraduate seniors to gain hands-on experience in portfolio management. Each year, a limited number of students are accepted to the program - generally, fourteen or fewer - and directly manage an eight-figure diversified equities portfolio on behalf of the University of St. Thomas endowment fund.Accepted student managers are assigned an industry to cover and an operational role to fulfill, rendering them responsible for researching, pitching, and monitoring equities within their industry while executing their operational responsibilities - which could include economic research and reporting, portfolio monitoring and trade execution, and others. Additionally, student managers receive one-on-one mentorship from industry professionals, access to financial industry events, and a study abroad trip.
