    Ansys Apr 2022 - Oct 2024
After a number of years at Ansys, I was incredibly excited to be given the opportunity to expand my rule further, so to be able to provide further value to the company.Along with my previous responsibility of Acquisition website migration, I was excited to be entrusted with the implementation and execution of Adobe Target on ansys.com.Adobe Target allows us to personalise and test our website for users that vary in terms of Geography, Customer Stage, Industry, Role, Seniority, and more. Not only this, we utilise Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deploy this real-time for the scale required for an enterprise company. To date, I have championed and improved Ansys' understanding of the features, benefits, and results, which include real-time personalisation, improved user-journeys, and increased conversion rates. And, via this, Ansys.com now contributes an even further increase of revenue, with an incredibly high ROI as we generate more with the traffic we already have.
  • Ansys, Inc.
    Web Coordinator
    Ansys, Inc. Apr 2019 - Mar 2023
In February 2019, Granta Design became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ansys, providing me with a fantastic opportunity to work for the global leader in engineering simulation.Wanting to be involved as soon as possible, I took the opportunity to fully engross myself into Ansys, and moved into their web team.As part of the web team, my role focuses on three responsibilities. Firstly, with my experience coming from an acquisition, I am responsible for helping other acquired companies to integrate into the Ansys marketing strategy. This includes merging website content, assets, and systems that allow for combined (rather than competing) SEO strengths, a more consistent brand, and the combination of workflows that allow a more streamlined process. As well as this, I help build and maintain the current Ansys website, using both Sitecore and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) on a daily basis. My third responsibility of Analytics combines these elements together allowing me to show both myself and the team all the benefits of the work we are doing.

    Website Manager

The successful migration of Granta Design's website onto WordPress has been the biggest accomplishment of my career to date, and will be one I take pride in for many years to come.Granta Design's website had grown substantially in size over many years of marketing activity and, as a result, had become very difficult and time-consuming to manage, and, in places, unoptimized for customer journeys. As well as this, Granta Design's website was not mobile-responsive - an essential element for a modern website. With my previous experience in migrating large websites over to WordPress, I acted as a central component of the project with the goals of improving the user-journey throughout the website, substantially reducing the amount of maintenance time required by the marketing team, and improving the website's ability to convert traffic into leads. To successfully achieve this I supported the search-engine optimisation of the website from the ground-up (keyword research, 301 redirects, meta tags), back-end development (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, SQL), front-end development (training, user feedback, UX improvements), liaison with major stakeholders and the design agency, and creating pages, developing plugins, creating templates, and improving functionality.

    Digital Marketing Communications Specialist
    Ansys Nov 2017 - Sep 2018
    Cambridge, United Kingdom
I was brought in to develop and improve their efficiency and understanding of the digital side of marketing. My most notable accomplishments include increasing Granta Design's traffic using social automation and search engine optimisation, supporting content development (see links below), and improving lead generation performance through conversion rate optimisation.Search-engine optimisation: While the majority of Granta Design's website traffic came from organic (around 60%) there were quick ways that I could increase both the quality and quantity of their search engine traffic. For this, I optimised the website's top 100 pages to capitalise on branded keywords such as "Granta Design" and product-based keywords such as "CES Selector" and "GRANTA MI". As well as this, I provided a keyword-focused approach to content development, so that blogs would develop consistent organic traffic over time.Content Marketing: Using keyword research, I began to support content development by writing a number of articles for the company. These articles included Simulation for the Automotive Industry (https://bit.ly/2BRlitA), "Additive Manufacturing: Will anyone think of the data?" (https://bit.ly/2SUt14G), and "Material Shortage - what next?" (https://bit.ly/2NpyB8R).Analytics: While the marketing team had already enjoyed success through regular well-attended webinars, wide coverage in a number of trade magazines, and high-quality events, and more, the marketing team had not had yet found a way to have a central location for their data. I worked to make this a possibility by setting up a Google Analytics account that could provide essential information such as where the traffic was coming from (social, organic, referral), where it was going (blogs, events, product pages), and what it was doing (bounce rate, conversion rate, time on page).
