Description: Gas Turbine other OEM servicing business.Task: Defining, building and leading an organisation of supplier quality professionals in a new GE Power Services 'start-up' business, delivering global execution of gas turbine servicing projects. Our Sourcing Quality resources are deployed regionally and by commodity group to develop and support a global manufacturing and services gas turbine supply chain. Principal tasks for the team include: identification, approval and development of new suppliers, continuous improvement/supplier development, creating a lean QMS, new product and process qualification, non-conformance management, execution of the audit plan, root cause analysis investigations, & cost reduction idea generation and execution. In addition to my Cross-Fleet team, I also lead the central Power Services SQ global support team, who are responsible for centralised Continuous Improvement activities, COPQ Capture & Recovery, NCR tool & process management and monthly KPI reporting.
