In 2015, the 20 year old company launched a new-to-market division called 'Worksite Sales', which was a proof-of-concept run at trying to build a scalable B2B sales-channel in the 'employee-benefits' marketplace. The 'Worksite' sales-system was an integrated approach, with a process which included: lead generators & inside sales, account executives, employee en-rollers, marketing & communication specialists, sales operations, and a VP. As an account executive I was charged with: acquiring & managing accounts after the inside sales team generated a lead (i.e. appointment); navigating & closing complex sales-cycles which often included multiple decision-makers and C-level executives; and developing & managing a multi-state territory (i.e. IA, IL, WI).
