About Grant Collie

With over 25 years experience internationally in freelance performance lighting design, venue design consultancy and related services Grant was seconded from employers Opera New Zealand in 1997 to Te Papa to assist with the opening of NZ’s new National Museum which led to a gradual shift in focus from live production to Museums.Now content with a few heritage and live projects that interest him, Grant is currently working as a Middle leader in the Social Sciences. He has completed an MA and BA (History), Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Studies. His major focus over the last few years has been digital engagement and online learning along with curriculum review and development.
