I am building and leading Atlassian's corporate governance, external reporting, mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, employment and equity administration legal functions. My key responsibilities include:- Acting as an inclusive leader, by providing mentorship, guidance, encouragement, growth and development opportunities and direction to an outstanding team of legal professionals- As Atlassian's Corporate Secretary, managing the Board and committee meetings and process, including close collaboration and partnership with the Board and Atlassian executive leadership- Serving as a cross-functional leader and partner with internal and external finance, investor relations, tax, compensation, and people teams on a variety of corporate legal matters and enterprise risk management reporting, as well as advising the Disclosure Committee and the Board and its committees on key disclosure and governance matters- Overseeing all securities and public company governance matters, including leading on key areas such as ESG and being a thought leader on new initiatives and proposed corporate governance rules and practice

- Built, lead and coached global corporate legal team, scaling to efficiently and professionally support over 12,000 employees in more than a dozen countries.- Acted as trusted advisor to senior leaders, C-Suite and Board of Directors regarding corporate governance, corporate legal and compliance issues and other strategic company matters.- Provided timely, pragmatic and risk-aware legal and business advice to internal stakeholders on a broad array of corporate and transactional matters.- Inspired, motivated and lead cross-functional and multi-cultural teams to execute major corporate transactions on tight timelines and budgets, delivering real, immediate strategic value to Atlassian, while minimizing legal risk. - Devised, planned and executed Atlassian’s redomicile into the United States, one of the largest such transactions of a publicly-traded corporation in American history. - Provided expert legal advice in all areas of corporate law, global securities laws, and corporate governance, including securities exchange listing rules.- Worked across the company to identify and analyze legal risks, and provide creative solutions for effective risk management.
