The 16th Century, 20 meter long, inland cargo vessel (L89), located near Ketelhaven, was completely excavated; the ship was dismantled; and then recorded in detail at the museum’s wet lab. Scaled drawings were made of all components for model reconstruction of the vessel. Practiced wet site excavation and artefact preservation techniques for wood, leather, iron, fibres, and ceramics.
