Whilst working in this role I performed a dual role of Compliance Engineer for Gallagher Group and as a Technical Manager for Alison Laboratories (subsidiary of Gallagher Group Ltd).Alison Laboratories is an IANZ accredited laboratory which adheres to the NZS ISO/IEC 17025 standard. I was responsible for the testing and reporting of products to their respective international standards and as an IANZ certified signatory was able to sign off other reports. As Technical Manager for this laboratory I was also responsible for the purchasing of test equipment, its calibration and maintenance. In the role of Compliance Engineer I was responsible for all aspects of the company’s domestic and international product compliance. This included the management of all stakeholders; internal and external customers and suppliers, both domestically and internationally. The role of Health and Safety Officer was also one that I performed and was responsible for 17 staff.
