A green field company/business within the Healthcare Australia Group. As Director my role was to establish this business from the ground up as a new startup, developing the business plan and executing the plan for organic growth. It is now an integral part of the wider business. I held this role until the purchase of the Healthcare Australia Group in 2018.

WHSE Consulting business mentoring and working with the clients to develop risk management auditing practices, policies, management standards and procedures. Clients included but not limited a large private girl's school on the north shore and an international travel/booking technology company.

• Reduced loss time injury (LTIs) from 10.76 to 7.13 over two years by implementing training, improving access to information and driving a functional Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) committee.• Part of the SafeWork Australia document review team prior to implementation of National Standards.• Reviewed systems and implemented a new Hierarchy of Controls to facilitate the development of policies, practices and procedures.• Designed and project-managed several builds, including a head office refurbishment in Sydney, a 1,800 sqm call centre in Melbourne, demonstration data centres and a 40,000 sqm advanced logistics centre in Western Sydney with a dust-free facility.• Increased safety record by automating manual handling, reducing headcount of the Sydney advanced logistic centre and future-proofing with power applications for more automation. This design is now rolled out globally.• Significantly reversed transport losses through contractual negotiation of the 'common carrier' clauses and stemming theft incidences by investigating and prosecuting offenders.• Developed a business continuity management standard and desktop audits.

Tasked to develop and implement a compliant Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) focusing on the Trade and Industrial on-hire arm of the business in Australia and New Zealand. • Introduced an online-first notification system accepted by insurers and work health and safety regulators in each state, reducing duplication.• Created and implemented a site-specific induction program for mining on-hire in partnership with clients. • Developed Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for continuous miners and load-shifting equipment.• Introduced new job safety analysis and hazard analysis reporting systems and forms based on an advanced Hierarchy of Controls.• Prepared and encoded the NSW, QLD, VIC and WA payrolls with state-specific WIC codes, recovering overpaid premiums.• Regionalised injury management of labour-hire staff to the respective states.• Significantly reduced premium levies nationally through effective injury management.
