After serving as: Security Chairperson (2010) Chairman of the board (2011,2012) Executive Director in (2013, 2014), Surf Director (2015,2016) and Event Operation and Social Media Director (2017- Present) While the ECSC is currently the longest continuously running Surfing Competition in the world (62yrs), it has grown into much more of a festival, that encompasses many more activities. With Music Stages, Vendor Village, Sponsor Village, and Food/Beverage Vendors. On the sports side of things there are competitions (Both Amatuer and Professional) in: Surfing, Skateboarding, Volleyball, Foot Volley, Beach Football, Golf Tournament, 10k race and Beach Triathlon. The event is owned and produced by the Virginia Beach Jaycees (Junior Chamber) and is based around their charitable works within the community. Over the most recent few years there has been a major shift in the event. Due largely in part of the efforts of the title sponsor and the addition of national sponsors that have given the event a world wide draw. The economic impact study for the 2018 event estimated over 95,000 attendees from outside of the region (over 250,000 total). It is estimated that those out of town attendees infused more than $25 million into the local economy. The event takes more than 12 months to organize and secure sponsorships. There are over 500 volunteers, 80 sponsors/vendors, 70 contractors, 30 committee members and up to 15 board members.

Schedule, and lead all board meetings. Create agendas and delegate action items to board members. Write grant proposals. Evaluate donation requests. Maintain state and federal exemption and tax status. Maintain Social media pages and donation requests. Create press releases for events and projects. No member of this board receives any financial compensation for their efforts.

Managed the relationships between advertising agencies and the insertion department. Matter dealing in billing and collections were also necessary in this position.
