Grantibly began over a breakfast conversation about the experience we had working with an evaluator who was difficult and disappointing. We talked about our skills, experience, and expertise as social and natural scientists, academics, qualitative and qualitative researchers, and grant writers/managers with an extensive customer service history and a passion to make a difference in the world.We work with faculty, nonprofits, government entities, and other organizations whose goal it is to address social inequities and improve the lives of historically marginalized groups and people. With excellent customer service, we get to know our clients and their needs and do everything we can to help them tell their story through data. Our qualitative and quantitative research expertise positions us to create and execute the best evaluation plan for the given project or organizational assessment. Evaluation and assessment are a key part of the funding process - our clients have a great team on their side! A few other facts about me: 📌 Serve as a project lead for Inspirus Consulting, a DEI consulting firm, working with all levels of the organization to do organizational assessment and DEI strategy development and implementation. 📌 Teach courses in research methods, family sociology, demography, and inequality/social justice 📌 Taught thousands of students in the classroom over 13 years with high success & have mentored numerous graduate students who have excelled in Masters and Ph.D. programs. 📌 My own research has centered on union transitions, relationship quality, father involvement, coparenting, the impact of COVID on faculty, and access to paid parental leave on family functioning and maternal and infant physical and mental health - I have 8 publications and many conference presentations using large, nationally representative existing datasets and primary data, locally and nationally📌 I have served in many leadership roles, such as Graduate Director of the Sociology MA program at WKU📌I created and implemented a 16-week paid parental leave policy for faculty at WKUlmcclain818@gmail.com or grantibly@gmail.com
