I advise commercial and individual clients from a broad range of industries on litigious and insolvency related matters, including companies of all sizes, liquidators, associations and clubs. While I assist clients with a range of commercial legal issues, my practice has a particular focus on: • Director and company related disputes, such as complicated director and partnership disputes and shareholder oppression cases; • Banking and finance, advising and acting on behalf of business and individuals in relation to banking issues and disputes, for both lenders and borrowers; • Insolvency and restructuring, working with insolvency and bankruptcy practitioners to wind up or restructure companies in credit distress;• Owners Corporation's matters advising they and their managers on various issues and disputes including property, leasing and committee related issues;• Fraud, including recovery of assets;• Franchise disputes; and• Australian sports law, in particular disputes relating to anti-doping, governance, team selection and disciplinary tribunals. I have experience conducting litigation in all Victorian Courts and Tribunals, as well as the Court of Arbitration for Sport and the Court of Appeal.I work closely with clients to ensure I understand their desired outcome, devise a strategy to achieve it and then negotiate all stages of a matter with this outcome in mind.
