In my college days at the University of Washington I pursued a biology degree in Ecology and Conservation. During this time at UW I worked as a professional mover for a few various local moving companies around the Seattle area and I found that I really enjoyed helping people move because I was able to eliminate their stress by providing them with solid service. After I left the University of Washington I ended up working in the restaurant industry. Unfortunately the jobs that I could have gotten with my college degree paid less than I was making as a bartender so I decided to not to pursue work in the field of Ecology and Conservation. I ended up working in the restaurant industry for about 8 years. Here I moved up the ranks ultimately landing in a high level management position within the restaurant group that I was working for. It was here in restaurant management that I developed people managment skills the ability to create systems that allowed for easier operation of the business. Towards the end of 2008 I found myself unemployed for the first time ever. Fortunately for me this was the best "worst" thing ever happened to me. I was 28 years old and was unsure of my next moves at the time but I ultimately made the decision that I would never work for another person again. I would be my own boss from that point into the future. From here I took to landscaping, moving and odd jobs - whatever I could do to build a reputation as a trustworthy hard worker that would get the job done. I mowed lawns, pruned trees, cleard brush, cleaned gutters - you name it I did it at first. Over time word got out of the services I was offering and I began to see more business. Over time I began to focus specifically on moving and then created Eco-Movers in 2009. Today, now in business 14 years, Eco-Movers has grown to 3 seperate locations in Seattle, Woodinville and Tacoma with over 50,000 square foot of combined warehouse and storage space. At our peak we have a staff of over 130 people and operate 30+ trucks in our fleet all over the Puget Sound Region. We specialize in local moving and storage and complete over 5000 moves per year! I am proud to say that today Eco-Movers is the most reviewed moving company in all Washington State with over 3000+ customer reviews.
