At the same time, they provide amazing benefits to our rivers and oceans through balancing water quality by removing sediments and nutrients, creating rich and genuine biodiversity, acting as nurseries for numerous marine species, protecting the shoreline from oceanic storm surges and erosion during floods and providing habitat for rare and endangered species.
