With millions of transactions across 100+ APIs every hour, it is paramount to understand if the CRS product is performing as intended by the business team. I lead proactive efforts to look past the macro connectivity issues and ensure the product features are working across ecosystems and with 3rd parties.Key responsibilities:--Proactively explore product data to bring insights which drive the right decisions in a market-changing setting. In the first year, 50% of anomalies were revenue impacting with ~120k lost bookings. --Transform business goals from data requests to product dashboards where near real-time insight can be gained on product functionality and performance. --Identify and alert teams to functional issues, especially those which are not obvious on a macro level but have significant impact to a channel, region, or brand.--Monitor product performance in order to identify failure points of business processes and adverse impacts of up and down stream systems.--Own the measurement of contractual service level agreements (SLAs).2020 (COVID)--Develop, direct, and own the business vision and strategy for the day to day management of IHG’s revenue products, which impact all channels, regions, customer segments, and brands. --Provide business subject matter expertise to support and development teams, perform administrative functions in IHG’s revenue systems (e.g. hotel changing currency, adding new brands, etc) and proactively find and solve potential system issues. --Direct the ROI evaluation and prioritization of any issues found in IHG’s revenue products. --Lead teams to accomplish goals and objectives, including direct reports, technical and professional staff, third parties, and contractors who are responsible for implementing the products worldwide. -

Directed activity for decommissioning internal products which includes building a solution in a vendor’s cloud environment, overseeing plans for migrating each individual application, and ensured all activity resulted in no deviation from service level agreements. There are over 150 Online Travel Agency (OTA) and Global Distribution System (GDS) B2B partners. Built a regression test plan for all distribution models and partners which included automated comparison testing, end-to-end test scripts, functional test cases, and data validation. Program Leader for replacing and decommissioning current distribution models. Models include both caching and real-time transactions. These models drive revenue by providing one half of all availability transactions for the organization.Built Sharepoint sites to manage the larger program. This facilitated knowledge sharing, made project artifacts readily accessible, promoted collaboration, and increased overall transparency which contributed to the efficiency of the team.Manage the documentation of business requirements and serve as product expert in the review and implementation of product initiatives. Focus on efforts to drive revenues with new initiatives by identifying maintenance and new development priorities with Global IT, based on overall system impact, potential room-night revenue, and available resources. Evaluate analysis and make proposals of enhancements that will drive increased revenue through Indirect Systems. Through subordinate staff, define and manage project life-cycles, including planning, development, testing, feedback and system implementation. Implemented automated comparison testing tool. -
