Cybersecurity is so interesting, seeing the arms race between those trying to protect people's information, and those who exploit it for malicious means. I became interested in pursuing IT after graduating college, then specifically security after enrolling in the Kansas State cybersecurity professional program. Now with my science background and this professional training I believe I can excel in the security world.While in college I took a multitude of math and science classes, including calculus, differential equations, discrete math, physics, chemistry, circuit theory, along with computer science classes in the languages Java, Python, C#, and C++.In addition to my educational background I pursued the certifications of the CompTIA Security+, the CompTIA Network+, and the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate. Each of these helped me to deepen my understanding of security, of course in this rapidly changing world one's learning is never finished.With all of this educational background, I think I can continue to adapt to everchanging threats as technology evolves. Combined this with a passion for technology and security allows me to continue to grow.
