- increased unit test coverage from < 10% to > 50% and halved our bug escape rate by emphasizing developer written automated testing, removing agile roadblocks, and giving teams agency and ownership to achieve outcomes defined by myself and the rest of the senior leadership team.- Worked with CISO to implement required changes to security, availability, and privacy changes to help us complete our SOC2 type 2 compliance audit and gain certification. This included GDPR and CCPA compliance as well.- Built AI-based document comparison and summarization MVP using a large language model to enable litigators to automatically retrieve relevant testimony from deposition transcripts using related documents to provide context to inform the model's output.

- Reduced cycle time by 39% and increased our employee NPS score by 40 points by leading the ideation, design, and rollout of a re-org for Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE), a department of almost 100 people. This re-org addressed friction points with both team structures, agile process, and dev ownership that led to high turnover and low productivity. I worked with leaders and ICs across PDE to build and implement the new plan and am very proud of the outcomes we achieved.- Created formal incident management, on-call, and bug triage processes that significantly reduced time-to-action for production outages and critical bugs from hours to minutes, while increasing accountability for responding engineers. Regular synchronous incident review gives us actionable insights to further refine our approach to directly incorporating quality as a key part of our product development process.- Developed a plan for and led hiring efforts to scale our engineering org by 35% over a period of 6 months. This effort included roles for both ICs and managers across a range of technical disciplines.- Launched Uber Eats delivery partnership in Canada that drove record sales for more than 60% of retailers in the program.

- Implemented a Quality, Stability, and Performance (QSP) initiative to address systemic flaws in our platform architecture, add extensive monitoring and alerts, and address a massive backlog of often-crippling tech debt and defects that put 40% of our ARR at high risk of churn. Over a period of ~6 months, this effort resulted in a 380% increase in web app performance, increased our NPS by 2.5x, and helped retain every customer who was at risk of churn.- Designed and delivered native iOS and Android mobile apps that expanded our access to hundreds of thousands of dollars in new ARR by exposing native device functionality not available through our web platform.- Designed and built trend analysis and reporting tools that empower customers to better understand usage, maintenance, and exception patterns to inform fleet makeup and optimization decisions.
