Chief responsibilities include: - complex financial modelling of resource-based companies in the Base Metals and Gold sectors (construction of equity valuation models using DCF analysis)- writing of research notes associated with the companies in question providing institutional clients with Buy/Sell/Hold recommendations on mining stocks - Regular morning meeting presentation pitches conveying recommendations and reviewing macro-economic factors associated with base and precious metals sectors- Client engagement and discussion (institutional clients and corporate issuers)I will be responsible for coverage on several names going forward I continue to ramp up in the role. Active in financial and fundamental analysis, in addition to client engagement (both the corporate issuer and the institutional clients). Familiar with mining geology and technical mining process operations through education, experience with work at Teck Resources Ltd., regular mine site visits/tours and international mining conference attendance. Exposure to a wide range of commodities through coverage list necessitating a deep and comprehensive understanding of individual commodity market fundamentals. Chief commodity focus on: Copper, Uranium, Nickel, Zinc, Gold, Lead, Iron Ore, Thermal/Metallurgical Coal, Diamonds & Lithium.

Chief responsibilities include in depth and detailed financial modeling for resource based companies across all mining commodities including gold, base metals, uranium, bulk and strategic commodities, and diamonds. Completion of financial modeling, sensitivity analysis and the generation of associated/supporting "idea pitch" presentations completed for the purposes of providing strategic direction to clients with respect to capital raises and/or M&A assignments.
