With more than 5 years experience in the hospitality / HORECA industry both serving and bartending in numerous bars and restaurants, my experience also includes Front of House management at Barkerville Brewing Co in Quesnel, BC through the Covid-19 pandemic. I am passionate regarding guest experiences, quality of products, and staff engagement and training. I recognize the hospitality industry to be a fulfilling career path and I strive to make personal and professional growth within the industry.As a colleague, I am cooperative, competent, energetic, hard-working, and respectful. I am able to demonstrate strong communication skills with guests and colleagues alike. I am fluent in English and French, and developed a small foundation in Dutch while living abroad in 2021/2022.Before entering the Hospitality / HORECA industry, I worked within the heavy equipment industry, specializing in the brokerage of sales of used Horizontal Directional Drills. This experience developed a specialization in sales and international logistics. Working with buyers and sellers, who were located in various countries around the world, I employed skills of communication, negotiation, and collaboration to discover sales opportunities, connect with clients and effectively broker a deal where all parties were cared for and content. Though successful in the equipment industry, I discovered a more passionate calling towards the world of food and beverage and set out to pursue new opportunities.
