Leading an esteemed team of software, systems, IT and solution development engineers across North America.Direct report to the Vice President of Technology, Global.Serving as the engineering leader, technical expert.Lead the pursuit of agile, scrum and waterfall methodology and practices.Develop technological strategy for North America; Collaborate with Western Europe (London / Paris) Engineering leadership to implement a cohesive, global fabric.Resolve issues brought forth by the engineering and studio operations team(s).Create detailed engineering plans, workflows, solutions, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by.Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects.Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff.Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of products (deliverables).Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs.Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff (audio/video recording engineers, data engineers, database developers, software/automation engineers, systems engineers and mechanical engineers)Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects, improved processes, and enhanced learning.Communicate and collaborate with other senior managers, engineering leads, executives, suppliers, and contractors.Develop and manage operational (OpEx) and capital (CapEx) budgets.Consistently delivered year over year new technical solutions, implementations and advancements, which directly contributed to growth in revenue, EBITDA.

Develop, deploy, and modify client solutions.Systems architecture, design, and implementation.Developing, implement guidelines for archiving, preservation, and handling best practices.Database design, development, and management.Quality control, assurance, and condition reporting.Digital asset management, and lifecycle.Enterprise NAS and SAN storage environments. Enterprise networking and IT administration. On-prem, cloud, and hybrid solutions.Data tape recovery, restore, and backup. Metadata enrichment, tagging, and embedding.Digital conversion - and preservation of media, including, but not limited to: video tape, audio tape, motion picture film, photographs/negatives, and data storage media.File-based transcoding and conversion.Restoration of analog and digital audio and video players/recorders. Data tape migration, restore, and backup.High resolution motion picture film scanning.Delivering on project-orientated goals, expectations, timelines. Serving as a key technical advisor, while driving technological innovation and engineering excellence.
