Starting in an entry level position with Triumvirate, I learned the workings of the hazardous waste industry first hand. I quickly became relied upon to lead projects such as lab packs, lab moves, lab decontaminations, and emergency responses. I gained project management skills by jumpstarting a site-wide chemical inventory program for Biogen’s Cambridge facilities. While leading these high pressure jobs I was able to gain great communication and organization skills while working to exceed the expectations of both external and internal clients. As I moved up in the company I took on larger roles and became site lead for both Lonza in Portsmouth NH and Baxalta/Shire in Milford MA. I was then promoted to Senior Environmental Specialist and became the lead at Gatehouse Park Biohub, which houses AstraZeneca’s Boston R&D as well as a lineup of ever-changing small to mid sized biotech startups.

Was promoted from crew member to supervisor of 7-15 person conservation crew. Managed individuals from many different backgrounds and experiences during wilderness conservation projects lasting one week to one month in duration. Worked with various government agencies on goal oriented projects including sustainable trail construction, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, fencing, and forest fuels reduction.
