Bringing over ten years of experience to Alvarez & Marsal Property Investment as a co-founding Partner and COO, Grant Schoenthaler oversees 11 properties, manages a team of 30, directs five service lines, and handles day-to-day operations. Grant's expertise is company & portfolio management, operational risk management, and investor/lender relations for the real estate business. He has been a part of $300+ million in acquisitions and established back-end protocols and practices across multiple companies. Grant is passionate about emerging new technologies and is an advocate for the introduction of tech into the real estate sector. Grant’s latest endeavor is integrating more data driven tech and tools into the practice, to create better automation and real-time data as well as optimizing energy efficient cost-saving initiatives for the portfolio.Outside of the office he is passionate about supporting the protection of our oceans, specifically coral reefs, and the fight against climate change. Grant attended the Jack Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University, where he studied Finance and Management.
