I am Grant, a student at Temasek Polytechnic currently pursuing a diploma in Psychology Studies.I selected this course of study as I have a keen interest in understanding what makes people so unique and brilliant. As such, I wish to help further explore the human psyche in my research and aim to use my research to better the world. This interest has since driven me to take part in various research projects involving topics such as academic buoyancy, misinformation, and behavioural insights.My experience in a fast-paced service environment has also honed my communication skills, helping me communicate clearly and concisely with others. This can then help in creating a streamlined workflow for the most efficient work to be produced. This past work experience has also developed my capability to take criticism and work to improve on my ability to produce quality work.With my creative and keen eye for detail, I also take pride in my ability to come up with a wide array of visual materials, be it an advert to market an item or nudge people through use of Behavioural Insights. This creativity has previously helped my team achieve the top spot in a product design and marketing competition.

  During my stints as a waiter at Buddy Hoagies, I developed significantly in my communication and teamwork abilities. In particular, I improved in my ability to speak clearly and concisely to ensure that my co-workers were updated about the situation within the restaurant. I also improved in my ability to work with other people to ensure that the service that I provided with my team was of good quality.
