As a Customer Assistant, I was valued as an integral part of the team. I was the link between the product and the customers themselves. My effective communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and customer alike ensured the customer left my company satisfied with the choice they have made. Organisation and reliability are what I was entrusted with when important tasks were set within the department in order to oversee everything running smoothly. I was involved in big tasks such as Stock Takes and Cost Counts whereby an efficient working method ensured nothing was missed and time was not wasted.

Throughout the twelve weeks of summer I secured a Summer Placement within Tendeka. I was entrusted with 3D modelling, production of technical drawings and design calculations whilst working on major projects for the company. Teamwork and effective communication were at the forefront of the success of the experience I gained over my time there. Meeting deadlines for the projects I was involved in were essential to meet the demands of the company, so this aided and improved my time management which has then been transferred into University. Coupling this with organisation, I believe I excel now in ensuring nothing is left to the last minute and adequate time is considered for minor changes needed for any project.
