I am the producer of an Internet WEB show called GrapeRadio. We produce both audio and video shows on wine related topics which is broadcast over the Internet using podcast technology. Our shows are available directly from our WEB site (www.graperadio.com) or through services like iTunes™. We own a professional broadcast studio, and have the ability to do remotes. The quality is excellent.Our shows cover a wide range of topics such as the enjoyment of wine, wine news and industry trends. The hallmark of our show is guest interviews with winemakers, vineyard owners, industry importers, restaurateurs, sommeliers etc. We have covered such events as the Napa Valley Auction, Hospice Du Rhone, and the Wine Spectator Grand Tour. We have also covered participated in a media tour of the great wine estates of Germany. Past guests include Brian Loring, Bob Foley, John Alban, Claude Blankiet, Allen Meadows, Tom Matthews, Manfred Krankl, Karen MacNeil, Heidi Barrett, Jim Laube, Marc Perrin, Kermit Lynch and Steve Tanzer.The scope of the show is international. Our listeners and guests are located throughout the world. GrapeRadio is growing at a torrid pace. When we started, we had about 50 listeners. Currently, approximately 20,000 people will download a typical show. The listeners are dedicated and ardent supporters of the site.GrapeRadio has been mentioned in the mainstream media (OC Register, USA Today, National Public Radio, NY Times, BBC, CBS, NBC, Financial Times, Business Week and CNN). GrapeRadio was awarded “Podcast of the Year” in 2006 and was a James Beard award finalist in 2007 and won the award in 2008.
