Cary Quinn is an ambitious and creative professional with a track record for innovation. He graduated early from Bryant University with a degree in Sociology concentrating on Business Management and Marketing. Cary’s unique and diverse skill set in business strategy, graphics, print processes, systems architecture, technology and creative design has made him stand out as a both a leader and originator. He specializes in applied R&D surrounding the fields of optical/ digital anti-counterfeiting technologies, interface/ algorithm enhancement and special printing effects. Currently, as the Director of Design & Development at GSSC, Cary plays a key role in operations, technology deployment and product advancement. His technical communication skills also make him invaluable for sales efforts, customer engagement and proof-of-concept construction. As an innovator, Cary has followed the footsteps of his grandfather, Alfred V. Alasia, inventor of Scrambled IndiciaÔ. He is listed as a co-inventor on several GSSC patents and sole inventor of a new pending patent for banknote/ ID security and marketing. Cary has become an internationally recognized expert in his field and has spoken at several industry events including the prestigious Intergraf Security Printing Conference as well as the High Security Printing and Tax Stamp Forums held by Reconnaissance International. He was recently invited by the US Federal Reserve Board to present at the very exclusive Four Nations Counterfeit Deterrence Workshop meeting held at the Banco De Mexico as an expert in steganography and security design. Cary has also been published numerous times in industry publications such as The Keesing Journal of Documents & Identity, Product and Image Security and several Reconnaissance International publications.
