Topic: Real time software simulation of low temperature PEM Fuel Cell System with a Fuel Cell Control Unit using C# programming. - The existing labcar provided an open loop testing platform for the Fuel Cell Control Unit. The working of hydrogen fuel cell was simulated in C# on the .NET framework v4.5 for windows which communicated through the USB with the Control Unit using the interfaces provided by the labcar and created a closed loop testing platform. - The GUI of the simulation represents a hydrogen fuel cell system and working with it is more effective, easily understandable and user friendly, than a text based representation.- Communication like ADC, DAC, CAN, PWM between the simulation and Control Unit through the labcar and USB.- Modular software architecture, multithreaded execution for better performance. - The software can be calibrated and hence the scope of simulation is wide. - Simple mode and detailed more of the simulation with the click of a button.- Configuration file to store the values of the execution when closing the tool. The values are loaded from the configuration file to the software when the simulation is reopened.- Flexibility is provided to change the units of the parameters like weight, volume, pressure etc.- The simulation is executed in 10ms raster to achieve real time operation.- Set up and usage of labcar, INCA, MDA, CANalyzer, Trace32, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, RC circuits, ES581, ES590.
